Meet Amelia

Like many of the people I work with, I know what it’s like to carry self-doubt, to feel weighed down by an inner critic, and to move through life feeling like you are never enough. That’s part of what drew me to this work and shapes the way I work with my clients.

You don’t need to arrive in therapy polished or put together. Here, every part of you is welcome: the side that strives to be in control, the one that feels small or unseen, the one that longs for closeness but also pulls away, the part that is seeking to take up space.

This is a space to meet yourself more fully, to explore how your past has shaped your present, to bring compassion to shame and self-criticism, and to discover a more authentic way of being. Together, we’ll go at your pace. We will create space for what’s real. You will unlearn old patterns and ways of relating, opening up to the possibility of change.

I offer online therapy across the UK and worldwide (with the exception of those currently residing in the US or Canada.)

Do you feel you can’t stop criticising yourself or constantly trying to be perfect?

Do you crave intimacy but find yourself pushing people away?

Is your past, including childhood and previous relationships, still holding you back?

Have you been told you’re “not enough” — and at the same time “too much”?

Do you feel disconnected from who you really are, especially in relationships and adjusting to life abroad?

Do you feel like you can't trust yourself and struggle with self-confidence?

What we can explore together

Whether you come to therapy knowing exactly what you want to work on, or it perhaps it feels harder to name, both are welcome here.

Together, we might explore the impact of early experiences on your life now, how self-judgement shapes the way you see yourself, or why intimacy and authenticity can feel so difficult to trust.

Therapy is a space to slow down, untangle what’s underneath, and begin to relate to yourself with more compassion and clarity.

If you’re curious, read on to learn more about how I work, what therapy with me can look like, and the experiences we might explore together.
